(8/13/05) With the score tied, 3-3, in the top of the tenth inning, Reid Fronk walked up to the plate looking to push the MoonDogs over the Brainerd Blue Thunder. The situation seems to be a daily routine for the third baseman, Fronk, who in the past week has hit a ninth inning game tying homerun along with a game winning bases clearing triple in extra innings. Once again, Fronk came through for his team as he jacked a solo shot to propel the MoonDogs to a 4-3 lead. The Blue Thunder battled back in the bottom of the inning though, loading the bases on MoonDogs closer Neil Wagner for their number two hitter, Joe Tautges. Fortunately, Wagner got Tautges to fly out of the inning, earning his 13th save on the year and a MoonDogs win.

Fronk led the MoonDogs in hitting going 2-5 at the plate including his seventh homerun of the year, with two RBI, and one run scored. L.J. Mims provided a spark going 2-4 with one RBI.

Extending his NWL appearance record to 39 games, Kevin Regan picked up his sixth win of the year as he worked 1.2 innings allowing no runs while striking out four batters.
