(Mankato, MN) The Mankato MoonDogs and Alexandria Beetles did not even get a pitch into the game on Saturday night and will have to play two on Sunday to make up the postponed game.

The Beetles and the MoonDogs have already played a doubleheader this season after the teams played until a Tornado Warning shook Blue Earth County on June 11th. The two teams split the doubleheader with the MoonDogs taking the first game by a score of 3-1 and the Beetles taking the second game 3-0.

The doubleheader will begin at 4:05pm and two seven inning games will be played. The Rochester Honkers lost to the Battle Creek Bombers 2-1 adding a half game to Mankato’s North Division lead which now stands at two.
