Mankato, Minn. – A trio of MoonDogs have advanced to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Sam Selman, Joe Loftus and Sam Lind all play for the Vanderbilt Commodores of the SEC. All three players will be playing for the MoonDogs this summer after their stop in Omaha.

Vanderbilt is 52-10 on the year and beat Oregon St. 9-3 in their Super Regional Saturday night, June 11th. Vanderbilt owns the sixth overall seed in the NCAA tournament and has made it to the College World Series thanks to sound defense and pitching. This will be Vanderbilt’s first ever trip to the College World Series.
