Mankato, Minn.- The MoonDogs game against the Willmar Stingers has been suspended until Willmar returns to Mankato Friday, July 15th at 6:05pm. The game will resume with the score tied 8-8 heading into bottom of the 12th inning at Franklin Rogers Park.

The MoonDogs were in a hole early in the game down 6 runs and came back in the bottom of the second to score five runs and tie the game at 6-6. The ‘Dogs added a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh to take an 8-6 lead but Willmar chipped away and scored a run in the top of the eight and ninth innings. Then the game headed into extras and in the bottom of the 12th inning the rain began to pour and the game was suspended until July 15th.

The MoonDogs now go on the road for four games. They head north for a game in Willmar and then to Alexandria for a three game series with the Beetles. They return home Monday, June 27th against Thunder Bay.
