Hey MoonDogs fans! We all know you have been wondering about whether the game will be played tonight, and unfortunately we will not be playing the game due to poor field conditions after the rain, but the game has been postponed until tomorrow. If you bought a ticket to tonight’s game, your ticket is good for any future MoonDogs game.

Due to this, the MoonDogs will face Duluth tomorrow for a double header of seven innings each at Franklin Rogers Park! The first game will start at 6:05PM and the gates will open at 5:05PM. Your ticket tomorrow will get you into both games.

We are excited to announce the Human Cannonball, Dave “The Bullet” Smith will be launching in between games tomorrow for the entertainment of fans who attend either or both games!

Tonight we were excited to have our replica jersey giveaway presented by Pioneer Bank and Hot 96.7, however the promotion will now be moved to a later date. We will post the date when this is decided! Updates will be on our Twitter and Facebook accounts, in addition to a press release on our website.

If you are part of a group outing tonight, check with the organizer for details of when the replacement date is.

“The Mankato MoonDogs are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (OAK). All league games are viewable live via the Northwoods League Website."
