The MoonDogs would not let what happened yesterday define who they are. The MoonDogs would strike first after an appeal from the coaches over Brendan Hord sliding into first to avoid the awkward throw. This would extend the inning for Kip Fougerousse to push Asher Bradd in.

The Honkers would not let that run go without a fight as they would get one back in the third. The MoonDogs would not stand for that getting one themselves as Ty Rumsey would get in on a double play.

It would continue to look good for the MoonDogs they would trade runs with the Honkers until the fifth inning when the Honkers would put three up with no response from the MoonDogs.

It would not take long for the MoonDogs to get the response they wanted with one getting across the plate in the seventh tying the game at five a piece.

This game would go scoreless the rest of the way through regulation. In the tenth inning the MoonDogs would lean on the big guns to get it done with Kip Fougerousse hitting a sac fly to push Kai Roberts in for the 6-5 victory.

The MoonDogs hit the road for the final two games of the season in Waterloo.
