Coach Kneeland has a lot to look forward to for the season ahead. When asked what he was looking forward to, his simple answer was “too much.” Kneeland is looking forward to the season in general, to his returning talent, and to the new talent coming to the squad. From his returners, Coach Kneeland is expecting leadership and experience. He is also excited to see how these players have progressed in their college seasons, and it is very rewarding to see them again. With Kneeland’s new talent, he is hoping they will embrace the grind and be a good mix with the team, as they are coming in with a good mix of experience and youth. With bringing in talent, he is excited to have them all at ISG field, where he cannot wait to see the fans and play in the great atmosphere that they bring. The atmosphere at ISG field is electric and playing there every day with his squad, Coach Kneeland feels is like a blessing. Taking these talented adults on the road is another thing Coach Kneeland mentioned as the bus trips can be a good time for the team to go out and see other teams’ fields. As a whole, the Mankato MoonDogs and Coach Kneeland will look to collect wins this year and look for playoffs.
