MANKATO, Minn. – The Willmar Stingers rebounded with a 10-2 win in Mankato Monday. 

The Stingers started strong with three hits in the first inning. Marcus Still (New Mexico State) got on with a single to start the day for Willmar, and stole two bases to get to third.

He was brought in with an errant throw by the MoonDogs' catcher. Following the Stingers' one-run first inning, Jake Rothwell (Daytona State) took over and pitched four scoreless innings.

The victory was marked by the Stingers' seven-run fourth inning. They sent eleven men up to the plate in the inning. 

Eric Del Prado (Willamette) drove in two more runs in the sixth inning. It was the first baseman's second hit of the season. 

Jake Rothwell earned his second win of the year in as many starts. He went five innings, gave up three hits, and one run. He collected four strikeouts in the outing.

Bumstead went 3-for-4 at the plate and walked. He was the catalyst of the fourth-inning rally, and collected two hits in the inning.  

Still stole four bases for the second time of the season. It put his total to nine on the season, which is the most in the Northwoods League.
