(Green Bay, WI) The Green Bay Bullfrogs Baseball Club has announced the signing of three players for the upcoming 2010 Northwoods League season. Included in this signing are two Wisconsin natives, Outfielders Jared Andreoli (Western Kentucky) and Collin Kuhn (Arkansas). The Bullfrogs also signed right-handed pitcher Matthew Kimball (Brown).  All three were members of the Bullfrogs last year.

A native of Sturtevant, Wisconsin, Andreoli plays collegiate baseball at Western Kentucky University. During his time with the Bullfrogs last year, Andreoli played in 48 games, recorded six RBI, was second on the team with triples (3), and had a batting average of .256.

This season at Western Kentucky, Andreoli helped the Hilltoppers reach the 23rd ranking in the Collegiate Baseball Division I poll. After six games the Hilltoppers have played this year, he is batting .423 with six RBIs. In 2009, Andreoli appeared in 53 games, and batted .300, with two homeruns and 32 RBIs.

Collin Kuhn, a native of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, plays collegiate baseball at the University of Arkansas. With the Bullfrogs last summer, Kuhn appeared in 31 contests, batted .250, drove in 15 runs and had six doubles.

While playing for the 19th ranked team in the nation in 2010, Kuhn has appeared in six games, batting .353 with one RBI and stole two bases. Kuhn helped Arkansas make it the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. During the 2009 season, Kuhn batted .256, had three homeruns, 19 RBIs and 11 stolen bases.

Kimball, a right-handed pitcher from Brown University, did not start a game for the Bullfrogs but appeared in 23 games out of the bullpen. Kimball posted a 2-3 record with one save in 32.1 innings pitched last season. He also posted an earned run average of 2.78 while striking out 21.

Kimball and Brown University have not started their 2010 campaign. They are scheduled to open the season March 5 against Pepperdine. Kimball had a successful 2009 season in which he appeared in 23 games, all out of the bullpen, recorded a 2-3 record with 10 saves in 34.2 innings. He registered 49 strike outs on the year and posted a 6.23 ERA.
