The Waterloo Bucks announced the signing of infielder Thomas Lindauer, from Moline, Illinois.   The University of Illinois infielder was ranked 4th best defensive high school infielder in the state of Illinois. Lindauer joins fellow Illini teammate Davis Hendrickson with the Bucks for the summer.

Lindauer was named the Quad City Times Athlete of the Year in 2010 and to the All-Big 6 Conference first team 2008-2010. In 2009, he hit .405 with eight home runs, 41 RBI, and 47 runs as a right-handed batter and thrower.

“I have heard good things about Waterloo from former players Willie Argo and Chris Pack,” said Lindauer. “They say it’s a great time and the atmosphere of the games is better than most leagues. I look forward to contributing my skills in the following years.”
