FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders haven’t played a game yet, but they have their own beer.  The team has partnered with Fox River Brewing Company to create Dock Spiders Pale Ale.  The new beer will be available on tap at Dock Spiders home games and in six-packs at area locations.


“We’re excited to team up with Fox River Brewing Company and bring the area a beer inspired by our new team,” said Ryan Moede, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders General Manager. 

Dock Spiders Pale Ale, with packaging designed by Fox River Brewing, Co and printed by QuadPackaging, a division of Quad/Graphics, will be initially available at Festival Foods in Fond du Lac & Oshkosh, Woodman’s in Appleton, Hanson BP, Philly’s Grocery/Deli, Korneli’s on Main, and Korneli’s on Prairie.  It is also currently on tap at several local bars including Fox River Brewing Co. in Oshkosh and 2.0 Ale House.

Fans of legal drinking age will be able to taste the new draft on tap during Dock Spiders games at Marian University’s Herr-Baker Field and during Timber Rattler games at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

“Fox River Brewing Co. is excited to be partnering with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders to create a signature craft beer in honor of their team,” said Jay Supple, the co-owner and head brewer for Fox River Brewing Co.  “Dock Spiders Pale Ale is a Medium bodied, copper color American Style Pale Ale featuring Mosaic Hops.”

The Dock Spiders open their season on the road against the Madison Mallards on Tuesday, May 30th.  The first home game in Dock Spiders history will be played on Thursday, June 1 at 6:35PM against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. 

Season ticket packages and group outings of 20 or more for the 2017 season are on sale now and may be purchased from the Dock Spiders ticket office by calling (920) 907-9833 between 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday.  Ticket packages are also available any time in the ticket section of dockspiders.com.  Individual game tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 6th at 10:00am.
