FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders and Grande Cheese have partnered to bring a Kids’ Zone to Marian University’s Herr-Baker Field. The area will feature a speed pitch, a bounce house, and playground equipment provided by Rainbow Play Systems. Kids will get a chance to try out the new area when the Dock Spiders play their first home game on Thursday, June 1.
“Our goal is to provide a family friendly entertainment experience, and our new Kids’ Zone will provide plenty of fun options for families and kids”, said Dock Spiders General Manager, Ryan Moede.
The Kids’ Zone will be open during all Dock Spiders home games and is an opportunity for children to get active.
“Grande Cheese is proud to partner with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders by sponsoring the Kids Zone play area as well as the Kids Run the Bases program,” said Todd Koss, Grande Cheese CEO. “Grande has traditionally focused our support on organizations that promote strong families and communities. This partnership allows us to encourage play for children while helping build engagement opportunities for family and friends throughout the broader Fond du Lac area.”
If the youngsters still have some energy after the game, they will be able to participate in the Grande Cheese Kids Run the Bases after every Saturday home game during the 2017 Northwoods League season.
