En route to an 11-6 win, the Mallards hit 3 home runs including a 3-run home run in the first inning off the bat of Mallards' center fielder Doran Turchin. Brock Weimer and Cade Bunnell each added a homer as well. Dock Spiders starting pitcher Kyle Huckaby was chased from the game after 3 innings. Huckaby allowed only 3 hits but walked 4 and gave up 7 earned runs and suffered the loss. Marian University's own Jordan Bock pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in relief for the Dock Spiders as well. Fond Du Lac's offense was kept fairly quiet for a majority of the game except for a 3-run 5th inning. One of the lone bright spots in the Dock Spider lineup was first baseman Andrew Bullock who went 2-5 with a pair of doubles and RBI's. The Dock Spiders will be back in action tomorrow night in Madison at 6:35. Ryan Connolly will start on the mound.
