LOVES PARK, IL- The Dock Spiders (31-31) scored 17 times, a season high, en route to demolishing the Rockford Rivets (35-26) 17-2.

Highlighting the night was Andrew Bullock who went 6-6 with two homers and five RBI's and four runs scored. Bullock was named Northwoods League Player of the night in what was arguably the best game put together by a Dock Spiders player this entire season. 

The night got off to a rocky start as Fondy's offense went down in order 1-2-3. Following the 1st, Fondy scored in every inning between the 2nd and 9th innings. Fondy scored two runs in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd innings. AJ Lewis drove in two runs with his first double of the night in the 1st inning. Lewis finished his day with three doubles. 

Fondy would score another in the 5th and two more in the 6th and exploded for six more in the 7th. Two more runs were added in the 8th and 9th as Fondy routed Rockford 17-2. 

Six Spider hitters recorded multiple hits including Nick Fortes who added three RBI's. In total, the Dock Spiders tallied 18 hits which was also a season high. 

The win was given to Jack Collins as he worked 3.1 innings out of the 'pen. 

Fondy is now just 2.5 games back of the Rivets and Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in the 2nd half of the season. The Dock Spiders will look to tighten the gap to 1.5 tomorrow for game two against the Rivets. First pitch is slated for 6:35.
