WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI- The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (5-6) dropped their third game in a row after an 11-2 loss to Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (7-4).

Duncan Hewitt (Butler) got the first run of the evening when he roped a base hit into the outfield which drove in Chris Ayers (Indiana State).

From then on the game would be dominated by the Rafters. They picked up one run of their own in the first when Jack Dunham (Northern Illinois) advanced on a single which sent Payton Robertson (Lamar) home to tie the game at 1.

The Rafters would eventually take control of the game when they picked up 4 runs in the 4th and 5 in the 5th to take a 10-1 lead over Fond du Lac.

One more one would be added on the scoreboard for the Dock Spiders when the Rafters pitcher walked home a run.

Two position players, Pat Sisk (Furman) and Brad Hudson (Southern Illinois), came in relief on the mound late in the game due to the lack of number of arms on the squad currently. It was not to shabby of an outing for either two players, in fact Sisk registered 3 strikeouts in 2 innings.

The same two teams will be back at Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids with the first pitch at 6:05.
