FOND DU LAC, WI- The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (21-15) fell to the Kenosha Kingfish (14-21) 8-2 to begin the second half of the season.

For Kenosha they wasted no time as they grabbed an early 4-0 lead after 3 innings. Not only did Kenosha have four runs but they also had seven hits.

The Kingfish also tacked on four runs in the 7th making the lead 7-0. Fond du Lac had never been shutout at Herr-Baker Field this season and they would not let it happen tonight.

Alex Erro (Northwestern) would also not let his hit streak die as he picked up an RBI single in the 9th inning extending his streak to twelve games. For Erro he also now has 17 RBI in his last six games. Two batters later Jacob Adams (Ole Miss) sent home a run with a blooper that dropped into left center field.

Fond du Lac will host Kenosha again tomorrow night at 6:35 PM.
