BATTLE CREEK, MI- The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (28-19) capped of a remarkable 9th inning comeback to edge out the Battle Creek Bombers (23-24) 2-1.

Battle Creek grabbed the first run of the ball game in the bottom of the 1st on an rbi base hit. The score would stay the same until the 9th inning. Braden Stutzman (Oregon) led thins off with a walk to begin the 9th. Jordan Prendiz (UCLA) would then rip out a base hit putting runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.

With Kiambu Fentress (Vanderbilt) and no outs he laid down a sacrifice bunt which pushed both runners into scoring position.

Jacob Adams (Ole Miss) would play the hero role today producing a two rbi single to give Fondy the 2-1 lead.

Zach Bryant (Daytona State) would pick up his 9th save of the season to close out the game in the bottom of the 9th.

Fond du Lac was able to end the Michigan road trip 3-1 heading into a rare of day. The Dock Spiders will be back at Herr-Baker Field Tuesday night vs. Rockford at 6:35 PM.
