FOND DU LAC, WI – Two Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are scheduled to participate in the 2018 Northwoods League All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 24. Jon Young and Mike Hope will both be a part of the pitching staff for the South Division for the game to be played at Homer Stryker Field in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Young, from Indiana Wesleyan University, is 3-2 with a 1.71 ERA in eight games – seven starts – for the Dock Spiders this season. Young has 28 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched in 2018.
Hope, from Shippensburg University, is 3-0 with a 1.39 ERA this season. Hope has 21 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings pitched in 2018.
Group outings and individual game tickets for the 2018 season are on sale now and may be purchased from the Dock Spiders ticket office (located at 980 E Division St.).
