MADISON, WI- The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (32-20) saw their five game win streak snapped falling to the Madison Mallards (37-16) 2-1.

Jon Mierzwa (Catholic) got the start on the mound and it made it 5 1/3 allowing just three hits and one run.

Cole Zabowski (Ole Miss) would give the Spiders a 1-0 lead in the 4th inning with his third home run of the season. Madison would answer with a run of their own to follow in the bottom of the 4th.

With the score tied at one a piece in the 8th the Mallards would capitalize on an RBI single that would prove to be the difference.

Fond du Lac will host Madison tomorrow at 1:05 before the NWL All Star Break.
