MADISON, WI- The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (33-26) fell to the Madison Mallards (42-18) for the fifth straight time this season, this time a score of 7-5.

Fond du Lac got on the board first and it came in the 3rd. Kiambu Fentress (Vanderbilt) would pick up the RBI single giving the Spiders a 1-0 early. Unfortunately the Mallards were able to pick up a run of their own in the bottom of the frame making it a tie game at 1-1.

Fondy would even the score at two a piece when a run was scored in the 5th when a Dock Spiders batter was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.

Jack Wassel (Minnesota) had his first two out RBI single of the night coming in the 6th to make it a tie ball game once again, this time at three a piece.

Madison was able to capitalize in the 7th when they put up four runs. Three of the runs were sent home off of bases loaded walks.

Down 7-3 in the 8th Jack Wassel (Minnesota) would once again come up clutch picking up his second two out RBI single decreasing the deficit to three. A late push from Fondy in the 9th inning with a Cole Zabowski (Ole Miss) two out RBI single would not be enough.

Fond du Lac will have a doubleheader vs. the Green Bay Bullfrogs (23-37). First game will be in Green Bay at 11:05 and then at Fond du Lac for a 6:35 PM.
