WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI- In a game loaded with errors, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (30-35) were able to capitalize and take down the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (36-29) a score of 6-3. The game saw a total of ten errors, five from each team.

In the 2nd Andrew Bullock (Western Carolina) would lead things off with a base hit but would be thrown out on a 9-6 putout trying to get to second. With no one on base Mitch Boe (Iowa) would grab his seventh double on the season. With Boe advancing to third during a Jacob Adams (Ole Miss) at bat on a passed ball, it would not be long until Boe would reach home. Adams reached first on an error from the shortstop which allowed Boe to score giving Fondy a 1-0 lead. Adams would set up Chris Ayers (Indiana State) with a runner in scoring position opportunity as Adams put himself in scoring position after a stolen base to second. Ayers was able to deliver with a two out RBI single which put the Spiders up 2-0.

The first three run inning for the Rafters came in the bottom of the third when they were able to give themselves a one run lead on just one hit and two errors. Wisconsin was able to make it another three run inning in the 4th making the lead 6-2.

The Spiders other run of the ball game came in the 6th which was scored by an error. Out of the nine runs scored today combined none of which were earned.

Fond du Lac will travel to Mequon, WI tomorrow night to take on the Lakeshore Chinooks at 6:35 PM.
