FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are excited to announce the signings of four more players for the 2019 season.  Tim Elko (Ole Miss), Parker Johnson (Indiana Wesleyan), Jordan Wharton (Indiana Wesleyan), & Kyle Hall (Indiana Wesleyan) will all be joining the Dock Spiders’ squad this summer.

Elko, a sophomore infielder, is currently in his second season at Ole Miss.  He started 11 games, all at third base last season, appeared in 29 games total, and hit .216 with one home run and three doubles.  In high school, he was named to the 2017 Perfect Game Florida High School Dream Team.

Johnson, a 6’0” sophomore pitcher/infielder at Indiana Wesleyan, hit .270 during his freshman season in 2018. He had 40 hits, seven doubles and 20 RBIs. He is originally from Anchorage, Alaska and attended South Anchorage High School. Last summer he played for the Anchorage Bucs.

Wharton, a 6’2” junior infielder at Indiana Wesleyan, was named to the All-Crossroads League team and also recognized as a Gold Award winner at shortstop. He led the team in batting average, hits, doubles, RBIs and helped IWU to their first regular season championship in 33 years. Last summer he had 41 hits and 17 RBIs for the Chugiak Chinooks.

Hall, a 5’10” senior pitcher at Indiana Wesleyan, was named to the All-Crossroads League team in 2018. He had an impressive 8-1 overall record during his junior season. He pitched two complete games, with a 2.43 ERA and also captured two saves.
