FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are excited to announce three more additions to the 2019 roster. Nathan Thomas (Northern Illinois), Tate Kolwyck (Vanderbilt), and Cam McMillan (Vanderbilt) will all be joining the Dock Spiders this summer.
Thomas, a junior right-handed pitcher, is currently in his third season with the Huskies and will coming back to Fond du Lac for his second stint with the Dock Spiders. Thomas appeared in seven games for the Dock Spiders during the 2018 season recording two saves and posting a 0.00 ERA during eight innings pitched.
Kolwyck, a 6’0” freshman middle infielder from Vanderbilt, is currently in his first spring season with the team. Originally from Memphis, TN, he was ranked as Tennessee’s No. 2 shortstop and 10th overall player in the class of 2018 by Perfect Game. He was a first-team all-state player in both baseball and football as well as a team captain for both teams as a junior and senior.
McMillan is a 6’5” redshirt freshman infielder from Vanderbilt University. Originally from Kansas City, MO, he was ranked as Missouri’s top overall player and the nation’s No. 38 shortstop in the class of 2018 by Perfect Game. He also lettered two years in baseball at St. Thomas Aquinas under coach Lorne Parks.
