MEQUON, WI— The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (10-11) and the Lakeshore Chinooks (7-13) finished up their four game set on Monday night. The two teams went back and forth for all nine innings.

The Dock Spiders struck first with a two run fourth inning. Charlie Maxwell (Northwestern) delivered  a two run double.

But the Chinooks would answer right away in the bottom frame to tie it up. The Dock Spiders would keep scoring.

The Dock Spiders would strike again in the sixth for three runs. A lead off walk to Zeb Adreon (Iowa) would hurt the Chinooks. A throwing error on a pick off attempt would get Adreon to third.

Tim Elko (Mississippi) would drive in Adreon. Maxwell would come up with two men on and drive them both in to cap off the inning.

The Chinooks would scratch back for another one in the bottom of the inning. Elko would get that run back in the top of the seventh and make it 6-3.

Pitching struggled in the bottom of the seventh and walks ensued. The Chinooks would tie the game up and take the momentum.

They would take the lead in the bottom of the eighth on a wild pitch, and the Dock Spiders were left stunned.

It was a tough loss after the offense was hitting well and especially the way they lost. The Dock Spiders now hit the road to Green Bay for a two game set Tuesday night. First pitch at 7:05 PM CST.
