ASHWAUBENON, WI— The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (10-12) took on the Green Bay Booyah (12-9) for the third straight road game. If you were looking for an offensive assault, then this wasn’t your game.

Sam Grace (Southern Illinois) got his second start under him and pitched well enough to get a victory. Grace only gave up a run and that’s all Green Bay would score.

The only run came from a lead off walk in the third that would eventually come around to score on an RBI single.

The Dock Spiders offense couldn’t get anything going. They managed to get a runner to third just one time.

They had multiple innings of runners at second, but couldn’t come up with a knock.

Bubba Horton (Minnesota) came in the sixth and dealt. He struck out six of the nine batters he faced.

In the ninth the Dock Spiders had the tying runner on with one out, but came up just short of bringing him around.

The pitching came out and dominated after a rough game in Lakeshore. They pitched well enough to win, but that’s just how baseball works.

The Dock Spiders come up to Green Bay tomorrow night for their last game of the road trip. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM CST.
