MEQUON, WI— The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (13-13) end their season series against the Lakeshore Chinooks (14-12) by being shutout.

The Dock Spiders bats went silent tonight with just three hits overall. The Chinooks did their job as a pitching staff.

After a first inning error, the Chinooks struck first to lead 1-0. Aaron Ball Jr. (Kankakee) would give up just one unearned run in three innings of work.

The lead would be held until the fifth when the Chinooks loaded the bases up and tacked on two runs to take a 3-0 lead late into the game.

The Dock Spiders couldn’t get any late inning magic this time. They would get first and second with nobody out and would ground into a double play ball and suck out any momentum they may have had.

The Dock Spiders hit the road tomorrow night to Kokomo for a two game set. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 PM CST.
