KOKOMO, IN— The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (14-13) traveled to face the Kokomo Jackrabbits for a two game set. It was a cross division match up as the Dock Spiders won 6-4.

The offense came out hot with the bats. Sam Novitske (Oregon) led the game off with a double and would come around to score later in the inning.

The 1-0 lead wouldn’t last that long as the Jackrabbits came back with a run of their own.

The Dock Spiders would add two more runs in the third. Aaron Anderson (Flagler) drove in a run to take the lead 2-1.

Zeb Adreon (Iowa) delivered another run to take the lead 3-1. Then another three runs came across in the next inning.

A wild pitch would score another run. And it was Tim Elko (Mississippi) who would deliver a two run single to make it 6-1.

The Dock Spiders pitching staff would walk a combined nine batters. Which would allow the Jackrabbits to get back into the game 6-4.

Max Cioffi (Mississippi) came in the ninth to close it out and get the save.
