KOKOMO, IN— The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (15-13) hang on to a nail-biter against the Kokomo Jackrabbits. They sweep the series and now hit the road back home.

It was Ryan Bader’s (Northwestern) turn to pitch and it was another outing of one run baseball. He went six innings and shut down the Jackrabbits and kept the Dock Spiders in the game.

Aaron Anderson (Flagler) came up big tonight with three RBI. He drove in the first one to take an early third inning lead.

The Jackrabbits would answer in the bottom of the inning. It was Anderson again in the fifth with another RBI single.

Anderson in the seventh drove in another run on a double to make it 3-1. Then two errors in the bottom of the seventh brought the tying runs across.

The Dock Spiders would answer quickly on a dropped fly ball by the Jackrabbits in the eighth. In the ninth the Dock Spiders would load the bases and manage to get two runs across and take a 6-3 lead in the bottom of the ninth.

Max Cioffi (Mississippi) closed it out and sent the Dock Spiders home with two wins. The Dock Spiders head home for a six game homestand.

First pitch tomorrow night 6:35 PM against the Kalamazoo Growlers.
