GREEN BAY, WI – Following a big 10-4 victory on Sunday, the Dock Spiders will go for the home and home series sweep of the Booyah in Green Bay at 6:35 pm Monday night.

 

Fond du Lac (3-1) comes into Monday night’s game on a two-game win streak. In their last two games, Dock Spiders’ pitching has struck out 22 batters and has 47 total in their four full games of play. The Booyah (1-4) were sent down on strikes 11 times on Sunday.

 

The pitching hasn’t been the only thing working for the Dock Spiders; their offense has come up big in the last two games as well, with 22 total runs scored and 29 hits combined during their two-game streak.

 

Andrew Bullock (Charleston Southern University) celebrated his birthday on Sunday with a tape-measure solo home run, one of his three hits on the afternoon. Tate Kolwyck (Vanderbilt University) and John Rhodes (University of Kentucky) both turned in multi-RBI outings, Rhodes with two and Kolwyck with three to push the Dock Spiders to a 10-4 win.

 

Fond du Lac will try and extend their win streak to three games tonight when they travel to Capital Credit Union Park in Green Bay to take on the Booyah at 6:35 pm.
