FOND DU LAC, WI, – Despite rallying to tie the game in the ninth, tenth, and eleventh innings, the Dock Spiders could not complete their late comeback against the Rafters. In 12 innings, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters defeated the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, 7-6.

  • Jay Harry tied the game, 2-2, in the fourth inning on an two-RBI double to score Calvin Harris and Connor Manthey
  • Later in the eighth, Jackson Loftin rocketed a solo home run, his second shot of the season, deep over the left field wall
  • Chandler Simpson tied the Rafters again in the 11th inning on an RBI single to bring Caleb Durbin home

  • Loftin finished 2-5 with one homerun, two-RBI, and one walk
  • Nate Thomas pitched the final 5.0 innings for the Dock Spiders, giving up five hits and no earned runs while striking out five Rafters batters
