FOND DU LAC, WI, – Behind a dominant pitching performance from Carlson Reed and a home run by Jay Harry, the Dock Spiders picked up their third win in two days over the Chinooks. The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks, 4-2, on Boy Scout Night at Herr-Baker Field.

  • Chandler Simpson brought home the game’s first run in the fifth as he reached on a fielder’s choice with the bases-loaded, scoring Matt McCormick from third base
  • Later in the fifth, Jay Harry lifted his first home run of the season, a three-run shot, over the right field wall to put the Dock Spiders up 4-0

  • Carlson Reed pitched five strong innings against Lakeshore, allowing just two hits in a scoreless performance while totaling 10 strikeouts over Chinooks batters
  • McCormick finished 2-2 with one run scored in his debut game this season
