FOND DU LAC, WI – After being on the losing-end of an early offensive attack Sunday, the Dock Spiders bounced-back Monday with early scoring of their own in their win over the Rivets. In the final game in the first-half of the NWL season, the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders defeated the Rockford Rivets, 7-6.

Key Plays

  • Jay Harry laced his third triple of the season in the second inning, scoring both Connor Manthey and Tavian Josenberger as part of a five-run frame for Fond du Lac
  • Later in the second, Kyte McDonald would connect on his own RBI triple to right centerfield. The Dock Spiders now lead the Northwoods League with 11 triples on the season.

Key Players

  • Josh Spiegel would have a fantastic day at the plate, going 2-4 with one RBI double, one RBI triple, and one run scored
  • Carlson Reed pitched four innings Monday, totaling seven strikeouts in the no-decision effort
