FOND DU LAC, WI – With late-inning dramatics filling the air for the second consecutive night, the Dock Spiders would prove victorious, once again, in a come-from-behind win. To sweep the two-game series, the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters, 7-6. 

Key Plays

  • Kyte McDonald gave the Dock Spiders an early 1-0 lead in the first inning with an RBI single to left field
  • Victor Scott lifted an RBI double to left field in the second inning, trading places with Tavian Josenberger who doubled earlier in the frame
  • Nate Thomas closed out the ninth inning to earn his NWL leading fifth save on the season. Thomas was selected to the NWL All-Star game earlier Friday morning.

Key Players

  • Ryan Lasko continues to improve his offensive game, finishing 3-4 with one RBI in the win
  • Scott was a staple from the two-spot, going 2-3 with one RBI double and two walks
