FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders defeated the Madison Mallards, 5-1, Tuesday night to take the three-game series and go into the off-day with a win streak.

  • To tie the game in the fifth inning, Chandler Simpson sent an RBI single to left field to bring Calvin Harris home to score
  • On his birthday, Sam Ireland gave the Dock Spiders the go-ahead lead in the seventh with an RBI hit up the middle

  • Connor McKenna threw 6.0 strong innings of dominating baseball, allowing just one hit to the Mallards while striking out two Madison batters
  • Meanwhile on the offensive side, Harris finished 2-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in the win
