FOND DU LAC, WI – While Wednesday’s ninth-inning rally fell short, the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders late-inning efforts did not as they edged out the Madison Mallards Thursday, 7-6.

  • Later in the second frame, Colin Trembley bashed a two-run home run deep over the left field fence for his first longball of the season
  • With base runners at first and third base and one out in the ninth inning, Jackson Loftin lifted a sacrifice-fly into outfield air to bring home the go-ahead, and eventual game-winning, run for the Dock Spiders
