TODAY’S STORYLINES

SCORE EARLY, SCORE OFTEN: The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders opened the second half with a 10-6 win over the Kokomo Jackrabbits on the road Wednesday night. The Dock Spiders scored in each of the first four innings before scoring four in the eighth to bring up the 10-run mark. INF Daylen Reyes tallied his third multi-hit game of the year, and reached base four different times (1B, 2B, BB, HBP). He’s tallied a multi-hit game in four straight, tying his season-best streak from the first four games of the year.

THEY LIKE THEIR RUNS IN BUNCHES: By putting up 10 runs on Wednesday night in the series opener against Kokomo, the Dock Spiders scored double-digit runs in their fourth straight game, and scored at least seven in their seventh straight.  The 10 runs on Wednesday passed their season-high of three straight with at least 10 that was set during the first three games of the regular season.
