TODAY’S STORYLINES

The Rockers enter today on a four-game winning streak, while the Dock Spiders will finish their five-game home stand.

HOMER HAPPY SPIDERS: With home runs on Sunday from INF Branden Comia and OF Andrew Sojka, the two became the third and fourth Dock Spiders to hit multiple homers at home this year. Tichy burst onto the scene and went 5-6 with three doubles and three RBI during the doubleheader. His five hits during the two-game set were the most out of anyone on the Dock Spiders roster. This past spring at UMass, Tichy was one of three Minutemen to hit above .290 at .292 in 45 appearances.

NEW KIDS ON THE MOUND: In game one of Sunday’s doubleheader against the Wausau Woodchucks, RHP Jarrett Kenyon and RHP Gabe Stotler made their first appearances of the summer with the Dock Spiders. Kenyon and Stotler combined for four shutout innings on the mound and allowed just two hits.
