FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders welcomed in 1,694 fans during their final home game on Saturday night to break the 30,000 mark for the fourth time in franchise history, and the first time since 2019, when they welcomed in 33,412 to Herr-Baker Field.

The Dock Spiders saw 32,359 fans attend home games in 2022, the third-highest attended season in franchise history.

Down the stretch, as the Dock Spiders battled for a playoff spot, Herr-Baker Field became the place to be, with over 1,000 fans at each of the final five home games. At home, the Dock Spiders gave fans plenty to cheer about, with a franchise-record 19 home runs at home and three walk-off wins.

The Dock Spiders set a single-game franchise record on June 9 during the inaugural I-41 Showdown at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium against the Green Bay Rockers with 2,085 in attendance. The contest at the home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers) marked the first-ever Northwoods League game played at a current Minor League ballpark.

As well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2019/2021 Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (NYM) and 2021 All-Star, MLB Gold Glove winner and 2019 Second Team All-MLB shortstop Marcus Semien (TEX).
