FOND DU LAC, WI- The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (32-19) got their fifth straight win capping off the sweep over the Kenosha Kingfish (23-27) with a score of 4-2. With the win Fond du Lac has move into solo first place in the second half of the season.

Jacob Kostyshock (Arkansas) got the win on the mound for Fondy were he there for 6 2/3 and did not give up a hit until the 5th inning. The Razorback finished the night giving up just three hits and two runs while striking out five.

Alex Erro (Northwestern) got the Dock Spiders on the board first with a 2 our RBI single in the first Fram giving Fondy a 1-0 lead which would stay the same until the 5th inning.

The Dock Spiders would open up the flood gates in the 5th pouring it on with three runs. Mitch Boe (Iowa) led things off with his third hit of the night. Erro would pick up his second RBI on the night with a sacrifice fly sending Boe home for the 2-0 lead. One batter to follow Andrew Bullock (Western Carolina) snagged an RBI single of his own sending home the third run of the ball game.

The third run of the game would be sent home when a runner was walked home.

Kenosha would pick up two runs in the 7th but it would prove not to be enough. Mitch Ebben (Northwestern Ohio) picked up his second save on the season striking out four of the last five batters he faced.

Fond du Lac will head to Madison tomorrow for a 6:05 first pitch at the Duck Pond.
