FOND DU LAC, WI– The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders took on the Lakeshore Chinooks (1-5) on Sunday afternoon and improved their record to 4-2 after taking home a 5-2 win.

Houston Glad (Texas Wesleyan) got the ball for his first start of the year, and he went seven innings allowing just one earned run, while scattering eight hits in the game.

It was Jack Alexander (Notre Dame) who was the MVP of the game, as he went 1-4 with a run. But it was his defense that stole the show; three Chinooks players were caught stealing by Alexander.

Max Downs (Saint Xavier) managed to get three more hits today after hitting the deep ball last night. Cherokee LeBeau (Oakland) and Cam McMillan (Vanderbilt) both had a pair of RBI’s and a pair of hits.

Parker Johnson (Indiana Wesleyan) came in for the save and shut the door in two innings of work and striking out three in the process.

The Dock Spiders stranded 13 runners on base as they had multiple innings of bases loaded jams for Chinooks pitchers and would only escape with one run.

The Dock Spiders took home the victory on Zac Charbonneau bobblehead day. Don’t miss tomorrow’s game at 11:35 AM CST as the Dock Spiders take on the Green Bay Booyah.
