MEQUON, WI— The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (10-10) and the Lakeshore Chinooks (11-9) had a lopsided game in favor of the Chinooks.
The Dock Spiders would start the game off by scoring the first run off an RBI single by Tate Kolwyck (Vanderbilt).
After that it all went downhill. The Chinooks would score in the first six innings and put 20 on the board. The Dock Spiders had no answer as the Chinooks just kept pounding runs on the board.
It was a bullpen game for the Dock Spiders, so they didn’t have the normal depth in their starter.
It wasn’t until the ninth inning when they would score three runs. A solo home run by Ryan Sepede (BYU), followed up by RBI singles by Kolwyck and Luke Robinson (Western Carolina).
Those were all the runs the Dock Spiders would score and it was just a tough night overall. The Chinooks just flat out beat the Dock Spiders.
Catch the Dock Spiders tomorrow night as they take on the Wisconsin Woodchucks at 6:35 PM CST.
