FOND DU LAC, WI – After splitting a two-game road series in La Crosse, the Dock Spiders will return home for one game to take on the Green Bay Booyah at 1:05 pm.

 

Fond du Lac (2-1) lost in a tight back-to-back game on Friday the 3rd 7-6 but came back with a big 12-7 victory on Independence Day to hand the Loggers their first loss of the year.

 

Aaron Anderson (Liberty University) had a huge night, putting up six RBI and one home run in a night where he reached base all six times he came to the plate.

 

Despite giving up seven runs, the Dock Spiders pitching staff had another solid outing, with five pitchers throwing eleven strikeouts combined in nine innings.

 

Derek Diamond (University of Mississippi) will make his first appearance on the mound for the Dock Spiders and start Sunday’s game. First pitch is 1:05 pm and can be listened to on KFIZ AM1450 or at the “Listen Live” link on the Dock Spiders website.
