ASHWAUBENON, WI – Despite four Dock Spiders hitting their first home runs of the 2021 Northwoods League season, Fond du Lac could not overcome an early deficit to the Green Bay Booyah on Saturday night. The Dock Spiders fell to the Booyah, 5-4. The Booyah took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning after back-to-back batters were hit by pitches with the bases-loaded, and never lost the lead. 

Key Plays

  • Gus Collins lifted his first home run of the season over the left field wall to put the Dock Spiders on the scoreboard in the third inning
  • Later in the fourth inning, Tavian Josenberger and Ryan Lasko each sent their first home runs over the outfield wall
  • To lead off the sixth inning, Jackson Loftin joined the club with a solo home run to left field

Key Players

  • Ryan Ignoffo pitched the final 3.1 innings and held Green Bay scoreless while striking out two batters
  • Loftin had a productive day at the plate, finishing 2-4 with one home run
