FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders snapped a three-game losing streak by posting their first shutout victory of the season with a dominating 4-0 win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Friday. 

Key Plays

  • Tavian Josenberger and McGwire Holbrook brought in the first two runs of the night in the sixth inning as each connected on an RBI double
  • Ryan Lasko extended the Dock Spiders’ lead later in the sixth with an RBI single, his twenty-second RBI of the season
  • Alex Vera entered the bottom of the ninth inning and pieced together a three-batter frame close out the win and earn his fourth save of the season

Key Players

  • Victor Scott had a consistent night at the plate, finishing 3-5 with one double and a run scored
  • Sam Ireland was dominating from the mound, tossing 6.0 scoreless innings while allowing just two-hits to the Rafters
