KALAMAZOO, MI – The festival Homer Simpson always wanted is coming to Homer Stryker Field. The first annual Donut and Beer festival will take place on the field at the ballpark in downtown Kalamazoo. Attendees can expect one-of-a-kind donuts, craft beers, ciders, live music, and fun. There will be yard games, donut eating contests, on-field activities, and much more.

The Kalamazoo Growlers have previously hosted Bell’s Brewery’s 30th Anniversary Funvitational and the America on Tap Craft Beer Festival. The organization is excited to partner with Townsquare Media present Donut and Beer Fest — "The response has been great to past events we've held at the ballpark, and we couldn't be more excited to be putting on our own festival" said Growlers Marketing Director, Annie Cultice. "There's nothing Kalamazoo does better than donuts and beer, so why not create an event that celebrates them both?"

The event will take place Saturday, August 26th from 4-8 PM (with VIP hour beginning at 3 PM) at the home of the Kalamazoo Growlers, 251 Mills St. The festival will take place directly on the field.

This is an event for all ages and non-alcoholic cider tickets will be available. Tickets are available at donutandbeerfest.com and at the Growlers box office.
