It’s made of 10 different pieces of oak – some of the biggest and heaviest wood available for projects like this.
It was painted to be nearly identical to the official Growlers logo with a light blue tongue, navy blue flowing hair and Kalamazoo skyline in yellow.
It is so heavy and big that it had to be delivered and placed with the help of a skid steer.
This 9ft tall, 5000 pound statue made its debut in 2021 and has been the backdrop for thousands of photos. Have you taken a picture next to it yet? 🙂
