KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Growlers announced the dates for the team’s 5-game packs today. The team has seen a significant spike in preseason sales this year, completely selling out of the team's 5-Game Packs before Christmas and generating a waiting list of over 100 fans. Last year, Kalamazoo was fifth in nation in attendance, averaging 2,245 fans per game.

“We haven’t seen this type of ticket interest since the months building up to our 1st season. We have tremendous fans in this community and we are lucky to be a part of it.” said Brian Colopy, Growlers Vice President.

Colopy credits a growing sports fan base in Kalamazoo along with the team’s unique offering to the spike, “With the success of our local teams, it’s an exciting time to be a sport’s fan in this area. Couple that with an insane offer, I’m thrilled our fans are excited about the packs” said Colopy.

Due to the high demand, Colopy also announced the team would be offering a second and final 5-game pack and released the dates for that package as well.

So you might be wondering, what’s made the 5 game ticket package so popular?

Well to summarize, it’s a pretty good deal. The Growlers give you 5 of their best games during the season. The ones with fireworks, entertainment acts like Dave the Cannonball Guy and Reggie the Purple Party Dude, and their best giveaway items. Also included in the package is all-you-can-handle ballpark food, soda, and water from when gates open to the end of the third inning. Each pack holder also receives a $40 Growlers jersey, $17 hat, a bobblehead, and two other free gifts. And it’s flexible. If a fan can’t make one of the games in their package, they can call their Personal Account Representative and switch it out for a different game if it’s available.

All of this, and it only costs $13 a ticket ($65 for the entire package). For a reserved box seat, tickets cost $15 per ticket ($75 for the entire package).

The only problem with these packages is there are a limited amount for each game based on food and beverage lines. After selling out the first pack, the Growlers have generated a waiting list of over 100 names. Because of the demand, the Growlers will be opening a second 5 game ticket package starting on January 5 with 750 available. Fans can reserve their package by filling out the form below or by calling 269-492-9966.
