Let me start by saying we love the Tigers. Heck, we want our players to eventually play for them. But this offseason, I wanted to see how we stacked up against them. So I had our front office do a little research.
Let’s be honest, playing them on the field would be a massacre. Those guys are the best of the best and our players are just too young to compete. But off the field, that’s another story.
We decided to compare one of the things that fans can relate to most, our small ticket plans. Here’s what we found out…
A Tigers 6-game plan will cost you $110, that’s about $18.33 per ticket for some of the furthest away seats in the ballpark. You get some small perks, but essentially you get the seats. Plus, don’t forget to factor in the cost of gas to drive there and the fan favorite $20 parking fee in a side lot.
A Growlers 5-game pack will cost you $70, that’s $14 per ticket and you get a lot more. Free food, 5 gifts and our best seats at our most popular weekend games. You also have a short commute and free parking.
