La Crosse, Wis. – La Crosse welcomes Aaron Knapp to the Lumberyard this summer.  Aaron is an outfielder from California and is the brother of former Logger MVP, Andrew Knapp who was selected in the second round by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2013 draft. .  Aaron is the son of Mike and Julie Knapp of Roseville, California. 

Aaron is a freshman at California.  Some of his high school highlights include hitting .434 with 32 runs. nine doubles, two triples, a home run and 20 RBI at Granite Bay High School during his junior campaign.  He added 18 walks, ten stolen bases, a .536 on-base percentage and a .645 slugging percentage while earning First-Team All-State, All-Section, All-City and All-League.  Aaron was selected as a California Region Honorable Mention Rawlings All-American in 2012, and was a Perfect Game USA Honorable Mention All-American in 2010 and 2011.  Aaron was a dual sport athlete at Granite Bay, playing football as well.  His football accolades include earning First-Team All-League, All-City, All-Section and was the 2013 State Final Player of the Game while leading his school to a state title.
