La Crosse, Wis. – Trevin Haseltine will be joining the Loggers this summer. Trevin is the brother of former Logger Jordan Haseltine. Trevin is a pitcher from California and has not yet declared a major. He is the son of Michael and Rebecca Haseltine. Trevin is a freshman at California.
Trevin was ranked as the number one right-handed pitcher in California by Perfect Game USA out of Will C. Wood High School in Vacaville. He was also selected as a 2012 First-Team Underclassman All-American by Perfect Game USA after recording 61 strikeouts in just 33.0 innings with a 1.70 ERA as a junior. That same season opponents batted just .176 against him. This past summer he was named as the number three top prospect in the Far West League by Baseball America.
The Loggers open the season in just 19 days as they host the Wisconsin Woodchucks at Copeland Park. First pitch set for 7:05.
